The wedding starts on Saturday noon, Tu Beshvat, 18.1.2003 at 12:00 with the firemen siren. After a small wood cutting task, all the guests are walking to the Standesamt where the ceremony takes place. From there we go to the restaurant. After the meal a snow slay takes the bride, groom and sisters and brother to the party. Dancing, life music, theater play, funny poems, more food and alcohol lead to the finish at 2:00 am the next day.
|
|
The cutting task is very delicate. After a short time Shahar finds out that the trick is to pull and not to push. Sharing the secret with Kathi leads to a happy end. |

After the 'Ja' saying, Shahar puts the ring on Kathi's finger. This is the same ring that was used as an engagement ring. Gott sei dank that Kathi has symmetric right and left hands. |

The wedding cake is made of 4 layers spread on 2 locations. It is decorated with marzipan roses. It is a masterpiece of aunt Anny who makes it usually as a living. It also tastes great. |

A long table full with 22 people. The location of each one is designed very carefully. The algorithm is still a secret. |

All dishes are decorated. Each one is an art creation. This dish is the 'special fish at salad'. |

Finally the couple arrives. They were hitch hiking with Eva and Martin up the Knoppenberg. That's definitely a special way to get to a wedding. |

The Knödlalm of Alfred and Sandra is the perfect background for our wedding celebration. It has a unique atmosphere close to nature. |

Before handing out the wedding bread we take a bite. Everybody gets a small piece which brings luck. |

The treasure is hidden under a pot. Weaponed with a wooden cooking spoon finds Shahar his way, sometimes causing an 'Aua' scream. |

Our sweet wedding night room on the second floor of the Troatkasten is the present from Alfred and Sandra. We add more wood in the oven, and bring some water. |
